Formed in Chicago in the mid-1990s, Alkaline Trio grow out of the DIY punk circuit with a reputation built on constant touring, independent releases, and a visual identity as strong as their songwriting. From early records through major-label eras and back again, the band maintain control over their imagery, themes, and direction, becoming one of the most recognizable names to come out of the late-’90s punk and emo crossover.
